Heart Rise Beauty Tonic

On those days where you need a subtle reminder to slow down and give yourself a moment to reconnect, this beautiful blend inspired by Lindsay Kluge of Ginger Tonic Botanicals is that and then some. We fell in love with this tonic after crafting it as an in-house experiment, so much so that we'd love to share it with you as an invitation to subtly enhance your summertime rituals.

Lindsay's Heart Rise Tea is a peppery, vibrant and aromatic infusion of holy basil, damiana, rose & peppermint that uplifts the heart and lightens up the gloom. She recommends it on those days when your inner Eeyore is hard core moping and the blues are present, however we've been loving it any time of day, both morning and afternoon, as a way to pause and soothe the heart and nervous system.

We've paired it with mangosteen hibiscus, maca, schisandra and pearl to help elevate the spirit, skin and libido while calming the inner chaos. A brief overview of the adaptogenic profile can be found below, along with a full recipe for our Heart Rise Beauty Tonic.

Mangosteen Hibiscus | This gorgeous super powder blend of mangosteen & hibiscus by Anima Mundi Herbals contains a rich profile of minerals and phytonutrients, plus powerhouse Vitamin C to purify the blood, nourish the skin and enhance enzymatic function and overall digestive balance.

Maca | Moon Juice got it right when they coined this Peruvian root powder the caramel-like love booster. Supports healthy metabolism and serves as a wonderful thyroid & hormone balancer in addition to giving your energy and libido a nice little boost. Not only does maca root create a rich, deeply mineralizing tonic, but it enhances the flavor and nutrient density of homemade chocolate when combined with raw cacao powder.

Schisandra | This tonifying beauty berry supports skin nourishment and overall radiance from the inside out. It translates as the "five flavored berry" due its flavor profile of sweet, sour, salty, bitter and pungent, therefore a little bit goes a long way. It's know to support the liver, enhance stamina, counter stress and heighten concentration.

Pearl | Crushed pearls in a jar, how wonderful is that! Pearl has been used for centuries as a beautifying antioxidant and potent source of enzymes. It's an ultimate beauty powder for achieving a youthful glow, but also good for bone health and building cells. It's tasteless, so it's ideal as a "neutral" in tonics and other recipes, especially when dusted on desserts in place of powdered sugar.
