Jelena is a licensed acupuncturist with advanced training in both Eastern and Western medical systems. She earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science in New York City, and is certified in functional medicine through the Kresser Institute.

Her clinical education and experience span a wide range of specialties, including orthopedics, digestive health, anxiety and stress-related conditions, insomnia, migraines, menstrual, urinary, & reproductive health concerns, immune support, asthma, and temperature-related symptoms such as night sweats. She also trained extensively outside the classroom, deepening her skills in Japanese acupuncture, shiatsu, and sports-focused techniques.

Jelena’s approach is integrative and individualized, drawing from acupuncture, herbal therapy, nutritional and lifestyle guidance, functional medicine principles, and hands-on manual techniques to support the body’s capacity to regulate, heal, and adapt.

Heather Micklos is a Master Esthetician having worked in the skincare industry for 20 years. She has always enjoyed connecting with others and has an innate ability for growing trust and creating a comfortable space for her clients. Heather finds joy in building tailored holistic services and treatment regimens that yield real results.

Honing her skills for 10 years in NYC, Heather continued to grow her skillset in Austin, Texas. She’s grateful to be able to bring her experience and energy to the Richmond community as part of the inspiring practitioners at Boketto.

Anne Payne s a board-certified licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician with over ten years of experience in the field of holistic care.

As an esthetician, she has been able to work with a plethora of skincare lines and has a vast knowledge of products, understanding components and ingredients and how they can affect various skin conditions— including nutritional therapies to assist in healing and nourishing the skin. Her ultimate goal is to assist her clients both internally and externally through slow beauty.

Malia Edgell has been practicing massage therapy since 2008 when she graduated from the massage program at Northern Virginia Community College. Massage was a dream job for Malia and she loves that she's been able to help people find relief and peaceful states of body and spirit over the years.

Her practice focuses on the holistic exploration of how the structures of the body relate to each other in the pursuit for release and balance. Sessions flow between many techniques that are guided by the client’s body in the moment and by Malia’s years of experience and wisdom.

Malia has an extensive background working with clients seeking relief from injuries and pain, as well as those in need of deep relaxation. She’s passionate about abdominal therapy, mobility and movement, cupping therapy, and massage for head and neck.

Malia is board certified through NCBTMB and licensed through the state of Virginia.

Marisa Manriquez is a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist devoted to supporting your journey toward balance and well-being.

With reverence and gentle touch, Marisa listens to the subtle rhythms of your body—helping to ease tension, restore harmony, and reconnect you with your innate wholeness.

Nicky (they/them) is a somatic breath, body, and energy worker with almost 15 years experience teaching people how to heal—specializing in chronic pain & illness, as well as trauma. Additionally, they have certifications as a yoga teacher as well as a Reiki Master. Their academic degree is an interdisciplinary BA they created called Mindful Medicine: Science, Culture, and Practice as well as a minor in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Studies from NYU.

Christina Lyon is an intuitive astrologer and the creator of Lua Astrology. Christina uses her intuitive gifts and knowledge of astrology, psychology, and numerology to offer personalized natal chart readings to her clients.

As a Gemini sun, Sagittarius moon, and Sagittarius rising, born under a full moon lunar eclipse. Christina is a self-proclaimed rebel and lover of all things occult. She sees astrology as the language of the universe and a cosmic blueprint to understanding your soul’s karma and purpose in life.

Christina completed her B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and received a Minor in Religious Studies. She has been studying astrology since 2014 and completed a year-long astrology course in 2021, created by professional astrologer Heather Eland, MA. Christina is also a 200-hour registered yoga teacher from Kripalu, Center for Yoga, and a holistic health coach certified by the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Christina practices western tropical astrology and uses the whole sign house system in her readings.
