Shinrin-yoku, or “forest bathing,” isn’t about hiking gear or remote landscapes; it’s about letting the natural world quiet the parts of you that feel overworked. Think of the cool edge of morning air, the way your breath naturally deepens outside. Even a walk around the block helps bring that calm, rooted, feeling closer to home.
