PRACTITIONER SPOTLIGHT

One in a Q&A series introducing the talented practitioners who make Boketto so special. Meet Eve McDermid:

What got you into your field?
I’m a licensed massage therapist, yoga teacher, and esthetician with a deep passion for helping people heal and feel there best. My work blends therapeutic touch, movement, breath, and ritual—creating space for stillness and transformation. I was drawn to this path after realizing that true wellness isn’t just about the body, but about aligning body, mind, and spirit.

Share your one-sentence elevator pitch?
I help you slow down, soften, and reconnect to yourself through intuitive bodywork, yoga, and holistic skin care.

If you weren’t doing this, what would you do/be?
I’d be traveling the world studying healing practices, learning from medicine women, and weaving that wisdom back into community spaces.

Your Memoir’s title?
Weaving the Wild: A Journey Back to Wholeness

If you had an entire day free with no limits, how would you spend it?
I’d wake up by the ocean, move through a slow sunrise yoga practice, enjoy a long breakfast, spend the afternoon swimming and napping under the sun, and end the day with a candlelit meal surrounded by friends.

What was your latest adventure?
A solo trip into the mountains where I danced, journaled by a lake, and felt completely held by nature and friends.

Who would you have over for dinner and what would you serve?
My family and friends and I would serve pasta and a salad because it’s easy and so good.

Most memorable thing a teacher has shared with you?
“Your presence is the most powerful tool you have—more than any technique.”

Most memorable thing a client has shared with you?
My client shared with me that they saw angles around me during a sound healing and yoga session. Made me cry.

Window or aisle?
Window—I like to watch the clouds.

10am or 10pm?
10am—I’m in my element when the day feels fresh and full of possibility.

Best service you had at Boketto?
A deeply restorative massage with a therapist who seemed to know exactly what my body and spirit needed that day—I left feeling lighter and more at home in myself.

Favorite Boketto product (currently) and why?
CBD bath salts because I take a bath daily and they always help me decompress from a long day.

Motto to live by?
“The only thing we ever truly have is the present moment, everything else is created in the mind.”
