Yay! We're so happy you’re here. Below are the ways we love to collaborate. Both on IG Live/Takeovers and on The Journal our online publication. An education platform is coming soon, and we’re happy to hear your proposal.

As you read the below, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thanks for taking a moment with us.

xoxo, Team at Boketto

The Journal

GOALS

  1. To strengthen our shared online communities through authentic and aligned content
  2. To engage the audience in many ways, using all the tools at your disposal: photography, video, words. Build narratives, share links, recipes, stories, dreams, etc.
  3. To have fun and feel good, to share your voice!

PARAMETERS

  1. Word Count
Journal piece lengths should be confirmed ahead of time, but between 700-1,000 words is ideal
  2. Provide Images
Provide relevant imagery to accompany your journal! We love a visual story. At a minimum, Journal pieces will all have a header image that are 1800x1000px horizontal. The focus of the image needs to be in the center, since desktop to phone is a responsive design. Giving a lot of white space around the image is ideal, as when we do get an image full bleed on a desktop it can be pretty intense. And other images can be peppered throughout the contribution. If you don’t have imagery, let us know and we’ll help!
  3. Bio + Photo
Your bio and a photograph accompanies your piece.
  4. Links/Tags
Let us know if you’ve used any references that we should make sure to link, if there are any credits or social media tags that you would like to accompany your piece. We request you link to Boketto products, when applicable and if authentic.

HOUSEKEEPING

  1. We may use your piece in social media and/or newsletter promotion.
  2. If stuck, when speaking about Boketto and Boketto Products, remember you can utilize tips, opinions, product reviews, personal exchanges with staff, how-tos. Not necessarily all or any of these, but they’re available to you.
  3. Please send your piece in a Google Doc to both social@bokettowellness.com and katebelew11@gmail.com
  4. Any major edits will be run by you before publication, grammatical edits will be made at Jennifer and Kate’s discretion.

The Moment

Boketto is committed to creating experiences designed to delight, build community and be of service. The Moment is a physical quarterly publication, and one expression of Boketto's voice & vibe.

The Moment is a full-spectrum exploration on a word — its etymology, meaning, history, pop-culture references, mythology, synonyms and antonyms… are all invited. As a contributor you'll explore what this word means to the collective, and more importantly, what it means to you. Now.

THE MOMENT IS

  • A physical, over-sized, printed periodical
  • Mailed to the Boketto community, nationwide
  • A gift—there's no charge
  • Beautiful, ephemeral, non-commercial
  • A generous meditation on the moment

AS A CONTRIBUTOR

  • You have freedom to express/share your perspective in a variety of media (poetry, art, words, sound, movement...)
  • You welcome the opportunity to meet an assigned + fair deadline
  • You get 3 copies for distribution and/or portfolio
  • Your byline will include a sentence or two about you/your work + URL/IG handle
  • You understand that there's no financial compensation for non-POC contributors*

SUBMISSIONS

The Moment accepts proposals, and recommendations for contributors, including yourself. Contact The Moment's Editor & Designer, Jennifer Elsner, here.

*The Moment is a value added perk for the Boketto Community. Boketto's not making money on the publication, moving product isn't a goal. They'll be no product ads. The Moment is a creative outlet for Boketto and an opportunity to share the subtle values of well-being: art, intellect, emotion, humanity, passion and compassion. And while we value the transaction of money, this is not that. We compensate POC contributors only. This is to acknowledge and illuminate the racial wage gap.
