ngredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup Black Sesame Paste
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Black Lava Salt
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions
Melt butter in large bowl and add syrup and sugar. Beat well then add egg and extract. In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Whisk dry ingredients by hand and add about a third of it at a time to the wet ingredients. Fold in with a rubber spatula until color is homogenized. Do not over mix. Add chocolate chips.

Line baking sheet with parchment paper and roll little balls about the size of a bubble gum ball at about 1-2" apart from each other. Bake for 10 minutes, remove from oven and cool for another few minutes, then place on wire rack. Once completely cooled, store in airtight container.
